Interests

My primary research interests are Philosophy of Information, Information and Computer Ethics, and Ethics of Conflicts.

Biography

I hold a Marie Curie Fellowship at the University of Hertfordshire, where I am working on Informational Conflicts and their ethical implications. I am also affiliated to the Information Ethics Group (IEG) at the University of Oxford. I obtained a European PhD in Philosophy at the University of Padua. My PhD thesis concerned the epistemic and ethical implications of the occurrences of e-Trust in distributed systems. I graduated in philosophy at the University of Bari with a MA thesis on the Symbol Grounding Problem.

Awards

2010 Simon Award for Outstanding Research in Computing and Philosophy by The International Association for Computing and Philosophy (IACAP).
